Words when spoken with correct pronunciation or written with correct spelling convey the right and impactful message.
To give students a platform to learn spellings, enrich their vocabulary, learn concepts and to develop the correct usage of language, an Inter House Spelling Bee competition, “Words of Worth” was organised. The competition was conducted in four levels. In Level 1, they were given easy words to spell and pronounce; In level -2, words were little difficult; In level-3, very difficult words were given. In the final round, students had to say the meaning of the given word and frame a sentence on the spot. Students’ efforts and speed of giving correct answers was remarkable.
The winners were:
Aryan Gupta of Grade 5A from Fire House,
Anamay Mishra of Grade 4 C from Water House, Arshiya Choudhary of Grade 3A from Wind House.
The overall Winner House was Fire House.
